Placemaking for me is about the doing. It’s a call to action to initiate the tangible, real solutions that affect the every day lives of community members in a concentrated area. There are so many solutions needed to transform our society, and I believe grassroots projects and initiatives centered around placemaking provide a path towards more vibrant, inclusive, sustainable communities. My current projects include building strong connections within a physical space to a wider innovation ecosystem. I enjoy curating intentional events and activations that showcase a place’s unique assets plus bringing in the entrepreneurs, innovators, creators, and influencers that are pushing the boundaries.
